I like Pizza Hut very much since my 1st time trying it. The mushroom soup WAS really nice, the meal WAS value worthy and Pizza Hut service WAS really nice too. This is not the first time I experience bad service from Pizza Hut and this is not the first Pizza Hut branch that I compliant of too.
Why don’t I just walk away instead of keep on complaining about Pizza Hut? This is because I missed the feeling that Pizza Hut gave me last time, I want Pizza Hut to be a better Pizza Hut and not the one with all the qualities going down. I am worry that one day Pizza Hut will disappear and I am worry that the day will come soon.
Pizza Hut will have a promotion browser putting on each table. Make sure you read that one before you open up your menu or else you will feel cheated like I do. The case is:
Number of people: 3
Customer: 2 table (when we walked in)
Staffs: MANY
Branch: Pizza Hut in Giant Hypermarket Sungai Petani
1) The waitress approached us nicely with a sweet smile and she is a trainee. I’m not sure whether she was trained not to tell us about what offer that they have or she don’t know that she need to tell us. We decided to order a set of STARZBITES meal for 2 people (RM 28.90) and add one another normal meal 1 for one person (RM 11.80) because my mother want to have 2 types of different pizza. The trainee ask us whether want to add on cheese or change the soft drinks to other drinks and when I ask the price, she said she don’t know but of cause is lower then RM 10.00 (if she is not a trainee, I am sure I’ll screw her up on the spot). So she repeated the order, tell me that the pizza will be served in 17 minutes as usual and move away.
While waiting more and more customer came in for their meals, I was boring so I started to look at the browser on the table. Then I saw this:
Sensasi Delight set for one person cost us only RM 8. 92 after tax.
The meal one that I ordered cost me RM 11.80 not including tax yet.
So I asked the trainee what is the different between this sensasi delight set with meal 1 that I ordered. She gave the most FUUNY answer that I can ever expect: “Oh, sensasi delight set is cheaper with extra one plate of breadstick and your meal one is more expensive and nothing extra lor.”
You should see my face at that historical, breathtaking moment; she almost turns me into Incredible Hulk! It is ok, I didn’t argue with her, because I am the stupid one who did not read the promotion browser before I order (although I still feel that they should mention about the promotion or recommend a better option).
2) A family came and sat next to my table (my pizza hasn’t arrived) and they have a cute baby. A waiter with LONG hair and samseng look named NIZAM, served them. After a while, he served the drinks in jug together with cups. The parents ask him to serve from the other side of table because the baby is trying to pull the cups and he just continues to put down the drinks and wanted to leave the table. Without time to scold him yet, everyone including us spotted the jug, the drinks should be Sprite…but……….there is something red at the bottom of the jug….IT’S CHILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, the parents asked the waiter to take back the jug and he still wanted to walk away. I really wish that I am incredible hulk at that moment.
3) After the drama, I suddenly realize that I have been sitting there for more then 30 minutes. When I questioned the waitress that serve me, she ask me : “Oh, you haven’t get your pizza is it?”. I thought you are the one who serve me so you should know that you haven’t brought the pizza?! While waiting for them to serve the pizza, we looked into the kitchen from the small window that they deliver pizza. The person who prepared the pizza didn’t cover up their mouth and talking while cutting the pizza and I can see the saliva SPLASHING on the pizza. I even saw them putting a “BURNED” pizza in a box for delivery (how lucky the one who receive the pizza). Then my pizza come, I thought I order the pizza with add on cheese, she told me that it’s already add on, just that you didn’t see it!! I just feel like want to tell her that I already paid but you didn’t receive it!!!!!!!
4) You think all the dramas over? No, this time, the family next to my table get really frustrated because they was served with a plate full of dust….The waiter NIZAM collect the plate and shake his head like they are the problematic family. The parents with a loud voice asked him to call the manager (in fact, the assistant manager named IZATI is just standing behind to serve other people, even deft can hear it) but the manager never come out. This NIZAM walk away like nothing happen and mumble in his mouth.
5) I decided to make this public when I see their attitude; hence I walked to their front and take their name. Before I do this, the assistant manager never look at us even both of our table are so noisy scolding her staffs.
I can’t control myself anymore if I stayed there longer, I went to the counter to pay, and so sudden she SEE me and come to settle my payment. I questioned the assistant manager regarding the different of sensasi delight and meal one, then only she told me that sensasi delight have limited flavor where meal one is available for all flavors (if you can answer me this way when I first questioned you all, I won’t be that angry with you). When I about to leave only she gave me RM 5 voucher, if not mistaken, it’s for the late pizza. You think I will keep my mouth shut because this RM 5 voucher? I will still complain about you even you give me a free meal as long as I’m not satisfy with your food and service!!
